Maloney

Actor, Singer, Creator

"Breanna is a lovely actor: instinctive, inventive, connected, focused and energized. Her work is always engaging and truthful, and she is a pleasure to direct." - Caroline Webster, Director, UK

“There is an intelligence and work ethic with Breanna that drives her performance abilities. There is an inherent passion for theatre and art.” - Christopher Elmer- Gorry, Director, UK

Maloney gives an exceptional performance as Charlotte, a woman whose identity has been fragmented by the allure of the world’s oldest profession…

- Emily Trace, Arts Critic

Think of the power of the universe — turning the Earth, growing the trees. That's the same power within you — if you'll only have the courage and the will to use it. -Charlie Chaplin

"I am a Canadian artist, born on the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario. From a young age, I have been drawn to the curiosities of the world that surround me. I connect to these curiosities through storytelling: by what inspires us, rouses us, what propels us to pursue our individual journeys. Whether it be through music, movement, dialogue or writing, I am inherently passionate in exploring human behaviour through art."

Breanna proudly holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor and an MFA in Acting from East 15 Acting School. Breanna has studied voice and movement at the Stratford Shakespeare training program in Stratford, Ontario, as well as the Globe Theatre in London, England. Breanna has trained in various disciplines, including stage combat, Commedia dell'arte, Viewpoints, Suzuki, Meyerhold and Laban.

Breanna is one of the co-founders and general manager of Skipping Stones Theatre, a small, independent theatre collective based in Toronto.

When not acting, Breanna enjoys reading,  Yoga-Gym-ing (THAT'S RIGHT), and, much to their dismay, experimenting with home-cooked recipes for loved ones.
